Most traders don't fail from strategy.
They fail from behavior.
The AI engine reads thousands of your data points and surfaces the patterns you can't see yourself.
Your win rate drops 17% after increasing position size beyond your average. The edge is in consistency, not conviction bets.
VWAP reclaim performs best during high-volatility mornings — 71% win rate before 11 AM vs 48% after. Front-load your risk.
You overtrade after 2 consecutive losses — frequency jumps 2.3×, expectancy turns negative. A cool-down rule could save thousands.
The difference
Most journals just log trades. WinsRate tells you why you're losing them.

A complete, field-by-field guide to every screen and button in WinsRate. Tap any topic below to jump straight to it.
Click Log In in the top navigation bar, then switch to the Sign Up tab (or click Get Started → on the homepage to land there directly). The sign-up form asks for your Email Address, a Password (a strength meter appears as you type, with an eye icon to reveal it), Confirm Password, and a required checkbox agreeing to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions — both open in their own window without losing your place. Submit to be taken straight into the Journal.
To log back in, use the Log In tab with your email and password. Forgotten it? Use Forgot password? directly under the password field.
WinsRate is free to explore with sample data; full access is a paid subscription — see Section 15 for the three plans and exactly what happens when you trial, subscribe, or cancel. To sign out, open your account/profile Settings menu and use Log Out at the bottom of its sidebar.
Top navigation: the logo returns you home; Home, Pricing, FAQ, Contact smooth-scroll to that section; Blog opens the article list; Journal (the highlighted tab) opens the app directly; ⚙ Customize opens the appearance drawer even before you log in; Log In / Get Started → open the auth window on the matching tab. On narrow screens these collapse into a ☰ menu.
Click Journal, Start Journaling →, or Get Started → to enter the app. A ← Back to site button at the top-left always returns you to the homepage without logging you out. Across the top of every Journal screen:
WinsRate supports several independent trading accounts at once — live, demo, funded/prop-firm, backtesting, or paper — each with its own balance, goals, and trade history. The workspace bar sits under the toolbar in Journal Input mode.
The left panel of Journal Input mode. Every field is optional except P&L (the minimum needed for a trade to count in your stats) — the more you fill in, the richer your analytics and AI coaching become.
/mistakes command.Above the form area, a KPI strip shows Total P&L, Win Rate, Profit Factor, Expectancy, Avg Win/Loss, Total Trades, and Avg Duration for the active account.
Switch the segmented control to Analytics for a full, independent dashboard. A timeframe bar (All / Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly / Custom) and an account-scope filter sit at the top, alongside a ▦ Widgets button that opens a checklist to toggle and reorder every module:
| Widget | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Insights | Balanced, automatically-generated behavioral insights with estimated dollar cost. |
| Performance Metrics | Net P&L, Total P&L %, Win Rate, Profit Factor, Expectancy, Avg Win/Loss, totals, Avg Duration, Avg R:R. |
| Win / Loss Streaks | Current and best win/loss streaks with flame icons. |
| Equity Curve | Cumulative P&L line chart. |
| Win / Loss Breakdown | Donut chart of wins vs. losses. |
| Strategy Performance | Win rate and P&L by strategy tag. |
| Discipline vs P&L | Scatter correlating discipline ratings with outcomes. |
| Session Performance | Performance by trading session tag. |
| P&L Heatmap | Profitability grid by hour and day. |
| Monthly P&L Calendar | Calendar colored by each day's net result. |
| Performance by Time of Day | Your most/least profitable hours. |
| Trade Distribution | Volume breakdown across symbols/setups. |
| AI Daily Briefing | An AI-written recap of recent activity. |

| Performance (side rail) | The same Performance rail from Section 6, mounted into Analytics. |
Switch to Journal for a visual, diary-style card view of your trades. Filter by search text, Result, Strategy, Direction, Account, or date range; click any card to open the full-screen Trade Detail Overlay (← Back, breadcrumb, ✎ Edit, ✕ Delete — Escape also closes it). Activating Delete Multiple… from the Clear ▾ menu turns the grid into select mode for bulk deletion.
The Edit Trade window reuses every field from the New Trade form, pre-filled with current values. Every destructive action anywhere in WinsRate — deleting one or many trades, clearing an account, cancelling a subscription, deleting your user account — shows a styled confirmation window first, explaining exactly what will happen, with a clear secondary Cancel and a clearly marked destructive confirm button. Nothing is removed from a single click.
Import: click ↥ Import → drop or browse a .csv/.tsv/.xlsx/.xls file (download the template first if unsure of the layout) → review the auto-matched column mapping with a live preview (Symbol is required; map either P&L or both Entry & Exit) → confirm to import. A summary reports how many rows imported, how many were skipped, and why. Imported trades carry a small "CSV" badge.
Export: ↧ Export CSV in the toolbar downloads your visible trade history as a spreadsheet at any time; Download Account Data in Settings → Data & Privacy exports everything — trades, accounts, analytics — as one JSON file.
Attach screenshots per-trade in the trade form (drag-and-drop or browse, multiple allowed). Click any thumbnail — from the form, the table's Shot column, a card, or the detail overlay — to open the full-screen viewer: a thumbnail strip across the top, ‹ / › navigation (also left/right arrow keys), a ⬇ Download button, a caption/counter, and × Close (Escape also works).
The floating chat bubble opens an AI assistant with read-only access to your own logged trades — never market predictions or financial advice. Modes: 💬 Chat (free-form), ⚡ Daily Insight, 📅 Weekly Review, 🧠 Behavior. The "new conversation" icon clears the chat; the close icon minimizes it back to the bubble.

Quick-tap suggestion chips (e.g. "Best setup?") sit below the input box so you don't have to type a full question.
Open from ⚙ Customize on the site or in the Journal toolbar.
↺ Reset Defaults restores everything; choices save automatically as you make them.
A separate multi-tab window for your personal account, billing, and data, with three tabs:
